The 1854 by Smith & Wesson honors the company’s first handgun, the lever action Volcanic pistol, patented in 1854. The rifle’s stainless steel 19.25″ threaded barrel is mated to a stainless steel receiver that sports a Picatinny accessory rail. In addition, the rifle is fitted with a gold bead front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The tubular magazine hold 9 rounds, giving the 1854 a 9+1 total capacity. The attractive walnut stock features textured panels on the grip and forend. Other features include a flat face trigger and Black Armornite finish on the metalwork.
