The .30 Caliber 200 grain SBT (Super Base) GameKing bullet is the consummate all-around bullet. Based on the popular traditional Sierra spitzer boat tail design, the SBT or Solid Base is the backbone of Sierra’s Rifle Bullet line. Sierra continues to refine and perfect this elite product. The SBT or Solid Base features a tapered jacket base allowing the projectile to travel deeper and travel faster through the target. The increased speed allows the SBT or Solid Base to travel more efficiently through the target. While this allows the bullet to travel faster through the target it also provides the SBT with the same explosive expansion and hydrostatic shock that allows such bullets to penetrate deeply and widen the wound channel. Softer than any of Sierra’s Partition bullets the SBT or Solid Base GameKing offers the same explosive expansion and high energy retention that these bullets were designed for. Sierra offers these bullets in a box of 100. The factory box is full of Sierra Bullets including several different calibers. For those wanting an even more powerful and versatile bullet for long range hunting they can be loaded at higher velocities with the same retained weight. A heavier test barrel may be required but the barrel should not be weighed down as the bullets are cold swaged.
