The Ritchie HF-742W Helmsman Compass is a high-definition helmet compass that features exclusive nitevue night illumination system. The Nitevue system is a permanent internal light source that appears on the compass face when the helm is being used (the direction of North) and appears solid green when the helm is removed. This system virtually eliminates any question or need for recharging. Its flat 3-3/4″ dial, easily installed 4″ mounting hole and scientifically matched sapphire jewel and hardened steel pivot and pivot axle ensure a precision declination. Compensators quickly correct heading errors. If heading is slightly off, simply push the compensator button and make the correction. The HF-742W is a Ritchie exclusive, with Ritchie 5-year Warranty, and all Ritchie products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
