The 2 Accu-Mag choke tube is the predecessor to the Accu-Mag choke tube and has been designed to provide optimal patterning with both buckshot and slugs at velocities in excess of those normally found in the shooting arts industry. Its purpose was to provide an enhanced pattern with less recoil to the shooter and thus, a more enjoyable shooting experience. The specific geometry of the Accu-Mag choke tube has been studied and incorporated into the design. The result is enhanced patterning with an already established, time-proven, choke tube. This choke tube has been acclaimed by game hunters in Europe, the UK, and the US for many years. Its patented design has been recognized for decades as the basis for high performing choke tubes and is the basis for the Accu-Mag system. Manufactured from 17-4 stainless steel for strength and durability, it has been said that a key to the performance of a choke tube is the choke itself. These chokes have been said to produce double the number of features compared to competing choke tubes. The Accu-Mag does not use slugs and is, therefore, ideally suited for the use of lead shot, tungsten carbide, or any other specialized choke tube.
