This tent is built almost entirely from recycled polyester fabrics: a 75-denier outer tent for durability, a breathable 68-denier inner layer to help reduce condensation, and a sturdier 150-denier hydrofilm groundsheet beneath your feet. Weighing in at just over 4 kg and including a roll-up stuffsack, repair kit, stakes and guy lines, it comes ready for quick setup and on-the-trail fixes, so you can spend less time fussing and more time enjoying your surroundings.
Denier (D) measures the thickness of individual fibers—higher deniers mean tougher fabric at the cost of some weight, while lower deniers stay lighter but less rugged. “RE” marks the use of recycled polyester yarn, often spun from reclaimed plastic bottles to cut down on waste. The hydrofilm laminate on the groundsheet is a thin polymer layer bonded to the fabric, creating an effective barrier against damp ground, and the breathable inner polyester allows moisture to pass through, helping keep the air inside fresher.

The ECLIPSE II is a great entry-level tent for summer travels and sleeps two in comfort. The tent is made predominantly from recycled materials.
On each side, there’s an entrance with a vestibule and a window, which means it’s very easy to ventilate the tent. With the entrances closed, the two air vents in the roof allow a flow of fresh air into the inner tent. There are four internal storage pockets to stash small items.
The free-standing dome design requires minimal pegs and guylines – a highly practical feature when pitching the tent on very hard ground. In summer, you can pitch the inner tent on its own without the flysheet.
