We took our original LWAP Mod1 design and had it manufactured at a TAA Compliant facility with materials. By meeting TAA compliance requirements, this version of the LWAP Mod1 is ideal from those looking for an intermediate sized backpack with higher quality materials that are . Now constructed of 500-D Cordura instead of ripstop nylon, this pack features a large main compartment as well as a side entry front pocket with modular webbing for attaching additional items to the exterior of the pack. The LWAP can easily be stowed in a larger pack to be used when needed. This pack is approx. 30% lighter than the other Lightweight Assault Packs. The Mod1 version was designed without the attachment system to attach to larger packs or plate carriers.
