The G42 Gen3 subcompact pistol is the smallest GLOCK possible. It’s fitted with a cold hammer-forged 3.25″ barrel chambered in .380ACP that feeds from a 6-round magazine. Like all Glock pistols, it features the Safe Action system which provides a consistent trigger pull from the first to the last round. The three automatic mechanical safeties built into the fire control system disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when the trigger is released. The polymer frame is fitted with hardened steel guides. The slide stop lever and the magazine catch are easily operated with the shooting hand. The advanced surface treatment on the slide and barrel provides optimal hardness, considerably reduces wear and tear, and makes them corrosion resistant even when operating in saltwater conditions. The extractor serves as a loaded chamber that visually and physically indicates whether there is a cartridge in the chamber of the pistol.
