The Eurotrail Hockenheim is a drive-away awning that attaches to camper vans to give you a sheltered extra room beside your vehicle. It’s designed to fit buses with roof heights between 180 and 260 cm and lets you leave the van in place while you use the annex for cooking, storing gear or simply taking a break outdoors.
With a floor footprint of 3 by 2.8 m and a peak height of 2.1 m there’s enough space to stand and move around comfortably. The tent fabric is 185T polyester with fully taped seams to help keep moisture out, and the zipped-in PE bathtub-style groundsheet seals off the base against mud and rain. A combination of 12.7 mm fiberglass poles and 19 mm steel uprights forms a sturdy frame, while the included roof pole ensures a snug fit against your vehicle. When it’s time to pack up, it fits into a 70 × 30 cm bag weighing 15 kg, so it tucks neatly into your van’s locker.
The in-sewn kuipzeil (bathtub-style groundsheet) means the floor extends up the walls to prevent water entering at the joins. Fiberglass poles offer flexibility to absorb wind gusts, while steel uprights provide extra strength where you need it most. The roof pole helps you align the awning easily against the side of your van for a secure attachment.
