Dutton-Lainson’s 14725 is a 2-speed hand/manual/pulling/ratchet DL-Series winch. It is used for horizontal pulling applications. It features a 2,000 lb. capacity, a 9.5″ Quick-Attach handle with an ergonomic handle grip and freewheel operation for easy line removal. The winch is constructed with a zinc plated TUFFPLATE finish. Patented reversible ratchet allows cranking of cable or strap onto winch drum in either direction. Dual drive shaft system allows Quick-Attach handle to easily change from high speed to low gear cranking from one side, requiring less effort for heavier loads. A clamp kit is included to install cable onto the winch drum. Note: This winch is built for horizontal pulling applications. For vertical lifting applications, order a brake winch, a worm gear winch or a StrongArm electric winch without a clutch lever. D-L pulling winches are not recommended for lifting applications. For lifting, use a D-L brake or worm gear winch. D-L winches are not to be used as hoists for lifting, supporting, or transporting people, or for loads over areas where people could be present.
