The Daiwa Emcast BR LT Spin Reel is perfect for a variety of bait fishing applications in inshore and nearshore environments. This reel is built with the Light and Tough concept and features a Bite N’ Run format which allows line to pay off the reel when a gamefish takes the bait. When the line is paying off the reel, the Auto Clutch puts the reel in gear for a solid hook set. The Light and Tough concept composes a Carbon Light Body and smooth Air Rotor that is lighter, yet just as strong as other materials. It also features a secondary drag system that engages while the bait is in the water, significantly reducing drag pressure and allowing the fish to run with the bait. Then, by flipping the rear switch or by turning the handle, the primary Automatic Tournament Drag takes over for the hookset and fight. A slick machined aluminum handle provides comfortable support and grip.
