Carlson’s 20 Gauge Extended Turkey Choke Tubes are manufactured from 17-4 heat treated stainless steel to withstand heavy buffered turkey shotshells. These chokes produce extra tight patterns with copper plated and buffered lead turkey shotshells. These chokes feature a matte blue finish. These chokes are designed with axial turbulence in mind and produce the smallest holes possible. This allows the shooter to achieve the smallest group size possible while still producing dense patterns down range. These chokes feature a smaller parallel section allowing for denser patterns than that of a conventional choke. These chokes also have a longer parallel section allowing for denser patterns with larger turkey shot. These chokes take a number of relatively large sized slugs that are fired at relatively low velocities, making them most effective when shooting lighter turkey load than a lead slug. These chokes also tend to produce a more accurate pattern than our competitors chokes due to a smaller hole diameter. These chokes also produce less recoil than the flush mounted slug producing choke tubes.
