The Big Dog Recovery Rope is used for winching and dragging stuck vehicles. Not recommended for recovery operations where winching exceeds recovery weights as defined by the Recovery/Tie Down Guide Table. The rope is fitted between two recovery points on a recovery shackle and the recovery rope handle must be used to overcome the snatching loop in order to engage the recovery rope. The rope is fitted with an oversized, heavy duty plastic shackle with rope identification and a heavy duty push/pull swivel at each end (puller/jig end must be attached to recovery winch as well as the snatch/tie in order to release the recovery knot by snagging the rope with the recovery swivel by the recovery snatchers hand). The rope handle must be unlatched from the recovery end and then placed in the recovery loop by the opposing vehicle. This feature helps prevent chafing and possible damage to your recovery winch as well as the vehicles being used as a recovery point.
