Junior All-Mountain
The Black Crows Camox Birdie Jr is an all-mountain ski built to introduce young riders to varied terrain. It’s designed to help kids explore groomed runs, gentle off-piste slopes and everything in between without overwhelming them with adult-sized gear.
Design Highlights
With a 90 mm waist, the Camox Birdie Jr strikes a balance between stability and agility, giving young skiers confidence on hardpack and light powder. The double rocker profile – gentle upturns at both tip and tail – makes turn initiation smoother and reduces edge catches, while the ski’s lightweight construction (1,375 g per ski at 157 cm) keeps handling easy for developing legs.
Tech Explained
The 17 m radius at 157 cm means turns feel lively without demanding big carving arcs – ideal for kids still mastering their technique. Double rocker refers to the curved tip and tail that lift off the snow, helping the ski pivot more readily. A flat mounting plate comes without pre-fitted bindings, giving ski shops the flexibility to install the right junior bindings at the perfect position.
