In-Mold Shell means the hard outer shell is directly fused to the inner foam liner, reducing bulk and helping distribute impact forces more evenly. Ventilation refers to strategically placed vents and internal channels that draw cool air in and push warm air out, aiding in temperature control. MIPS, or Multi-directional Impact Protection System, is an added low-friction layer meant to reduce rotational forces during angled impacts—this helmet omits that feature for a simpler construction.
