The Torklift Spring Load Kit is designed for use with XL single, double, triple or quad axle trailers with spring load assist. The kit offers a heavy-duty leaf spring and lever-style gate, rather than the traditional spring-loaded gate, which requires the gate to open fully before the spring can be inserted. The single-spring gate ensures the rear of the loader stays open and serves as a spring to release the loader pin, which pins to the frame of the trailer, rather than the opposite end of the frame. This allows the forks to remain up when the trailer is turned. The double-barreled spring-loading kit has wiring to match the factory-supplied springs, as well as a unique release valve that opens the springs without damaging the pins or the swivel pins. The kit is extremely easy to install and, once installed, will convert a spring-loaded trailer into a double spring-loaded one. The spring-loaded gate allows the forks to be inserted from either side and springs are pre-loaded so the forks are naturally positioned at the bottom of the loader trough rather than being pulled from the front. It is also the most secure loader on the market, making it the best and safest loader on the market. The kit for dual spring loaded XL trailers has wiring to replace the red and black hitch pins & levers, as well as a spring loaded gate clip and pins.
