Tech cords are designed for primarily two purposes: to attach carabiners to carabiners, and to provide an anchoring system for stray doggos and other troublemakers. They are not to be used as working lines, except in very specific circumstances, such as when a carabiner gets caught in a sling or tied-off to a rope, or when a very light load is being carried. For use only in a securely tied mainline sling, or for attaching carabiners at a greater distance from your reel. A very lightweight way to attach carabiners to your rope without a sling.
