The Head Edge 130 HV GW is an all-mountain ski boot for men, built to tackle everything from groomed runs to off-piste slopes. With a high-volume fit and a performance-minded flex, it’s aimed at experienced skiers who want a responsive ride without overly pinched toes.
Designed on a 102 mm last, the Edge 130 HV GW provides extra width across the forefoot, making it a solid pick for anyone with wider feet or who simply prefers more space during long days on snow. The generous shell volume reduces hot spots and minimizes tightening, so you can focus on carving turns rather than battling discomfort.
At a flex rating of 130, this boot sits squarely in the performance category for men’s ski boots (120+ flex), meaning the shell is quite stiff. That stiffness increases counter pressure, giving you sharper edge control and more precise feedback when pushing hard through varied snow conditions. It does demand good technique and leg strength to make the most of its responsiveness.

Head says about theEdge 130 HV GW
The Edge 130 GW offers advanced to expert skiers an ideal balance between performance and comfort. HEAD’s new EZ-Tech Shell design includes a tri-injected shell with Graphene that’s stiffer in the spine, heel and ankle for a reactive flex needed to effectively pressure the ski. Softer material around the top of the foot makes the boot so easy to put on, you can do it hands free. A newly-designed EZ-Walk device coupled with a Grip Walk sole increases range of motion and makes walking a cinch. The 102 mm last suits higher volume feet, and the Liquid Fit liner quickly customizes the fit.
