This handy 1/4in Straight Notch Bit makes quick work of most routine notching jobs. This bit features a finely ground carbide tip with a sharp knurl on the leading edge for smooth, accurate cuts every time. The tang stops nearly half the chatter of regular bits, and the knurl is long enough to handle most ordinary tasks. These notched bits are the perfect size for most doweling jobs, including the installation of T-mouldings and the insertion of guide bushings. Constructed of high carbon steel with a black plating, these bits can be used for many years with little apparent wear.
