The abrasive sanding belt A80-Y has a high abrasive value and is used for general purpose sanding on a variety of materials. A popular choice with craftsmen due to the fact that it requires less pressure to keep the sanding abrasive effective for a longer period of time. The sanding belt is backed with high density polyethylene (HDPE) which prevents belt slippage and buckling while offering superior support. This sanding belt is constructed with “Y” sanding cores and has a unique starch backing which causes the sanding paper to last longer no matter the condition of the piece being sanded.
