The 43X from Glock is a double-action-only (DAO) semiauto pistol fitted with a 3.41″ barrel chambered in 9mm Luger. It combines a compact-size grip length, built-in beaver tail and subcompact-slim slide for a comfortably balanced firearm. Glock’s Safe Action system provides a consistent trigger pull from the first to the last round and three automatic independently operating mechanical safeties. The frame is made of polymer with hardened steel guides. The advanced surface treatment of the slide results in optimal hardness and corrosion resistance, even when operating in saltwater conditions, and its matte surface minimizes light reflection. The extractor serves as a loaded chamber indicator (to comply with the laws of certain states) that provides visual and tactile indication of the presence of a cartridge in the chamber.
