The Giro Neo is a men’s ski helmet designed for use on the slopes without a built-in visor. Its straightforward design focuses on reliable head protection and a clean, low-profile look for skiers who prefer pairing their own goggles.
Built with In-Mold construction and integrated ventilation, the Neo strikes a balance between impact safety and airflow. The In-Mold process bonds the hard outer shell directly to the foam liner, helping to keep the helmet’s profile slim while effectively absorbing impacts. Ventilation channels draw in fresh air to help regulate temperature and reduce moisture buildup during active use.
In-Mold construction refers to the manufacturing technique where the helmet’s shell and foam liner are fused in a single step, resulting in a lighter shell and improved energy distribution on impact. The Neo does not include MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), which is an additional liner layer designed to reduce rotational forces in certain impacts. Instead, it offers a straightforward protective solution without that rotational-force technology.
